Community Coach Accreditation Course

The Community Coach accreditation is designed for anybody starting their coaching journey in basketball. The course is a great introduction to your role and responsibilities as a coach, and provides advice for keeping large groups of kids engaged, and designing sessions based on fun and skill development.

COMMUNITY COACH COURSE – APRIL 2021

Basketball ACT will be conducting two Community Coach Courses this April, for coaches to take their first step on their coaching journey.

The Community Coach Course is an important accreditation to develop a coach’s understanding of their role and responsibilities, as well as growing their ability to prepare and conduct training sessions that are engaging, fun and supportive of a player’s skill development.

WHEN

WEDNESDAY – 7 APRIL 2021 – 6.30pm – 9.30pm

Tuggeranong Southern Cross Stadium (Court 1)

SUNDAY – 18 APRIL 2021 – 9am – 12pm

Belconnen Basketball Stadium (Court 1)


COST: $10

(Basketball Australia accreditation fee + SportsTG fee)

Attendees are required to wear appropriate clothing and footwear for on-court activities, bring a notepad, pen and drink bottle. Coaching resources will be provided by Basketball ACT.
