By BACT Media Unit – 19 December 2022

With an earlier opportunity to hit the court in 2023, Basketball ACT would like to announce the athletes selected to the ACT Under 20 Men’s and Women’s squads for 2023.

When discussing selections, ACT U20W Head Coach, Sarah Graham said of her team “I like this group because they’re tough and just want to compete. The buy-in has been really pleasing, knowing there’s work to be done, and just getting in and getting it done. I’m looking forward to this group having more time together leading into Nationals, establishing how we want to play, and having the ability to adapt to different challenges and situations along the way”.

Meanwhile, ACT U20M Head Coach, Ash Arnott said, “As a coaching staff we are very happy with the team assembled to represent ACT at the 2023 Under 20 Australian Junior Championships.  We have a strong, versatile and cohesive team that will be able to play with great tempo at both ends of the floor. We are excited about the challenges that await us as we build towards the tournament in February”.

Both ACT U20 teams will compete at the Under 20 Australian Junior Championships (AJC) in Geelong, VIC from 13-19 February 2023.

Congratulations to all…
