Basketball ACT is excited to join other state basketball associations, as well as national sporting bodies, in announcing a partnership with Play HQ, to deliver a new sports administration technology platform designed to simplify the experience for our clubs, volunteers and participants.

The Play HQ system was built to meet the needs of the basketball community, and is able to handle competition management, registration, club administration, payments, game day management and more.

Basketball ACT will adopt a phased transition to Play HQ commencing from August 2021 with Senior Social Summer registration, and work with Play HQ, clubs and administrators to deliver targeted training and support during the implementation/roll-out process.

When discussing the new system, Basketball ACT Chief Executive Officer (CEO), David Simpson said “Basketball ACT is excited, and looking forward, to working with Play HQ in adopting and adapting the platform to meet the needs of our basketball community.”
