The Under 16 Men’s ACT Representative Squad is selected and ready to take the court in Darwin this July at the National Championships!

Considered an important stepping stone in a juniors career, the Under 16 National Championships gives our juniors a chance to hit the court and compete against some of the most talented players in Australia.

Head Coach Debbie Cook says the team is more than ready for the competition and is looking forward to hitting the court later this year.

“The team has good depth, athletic ability and height which will provide an opportunity to play an up tempo style of play but also have an inside presence,” said Cook. “There is a good balance across all positions and I am looking forward to coaching the group who have already demonstrated a strong work ethic and desire to win.”

“The boys have a great team focus and contributions from Alex Toohey, Cameron Pender and Bowen Beatty will be key, with Lachlan Smith providing a flare for scoring,” Cook added.

The squad of 12 is made up of:

Che Peters (Norths)

Jordan Jonathon (Norths)

Lachlan Fitzpatrick (Queanbeyan)
