Basketball Australias vision is for every basketball coach in Australia to have completed a minimum level of formal education whilist working with players of all abilities.

Basketball Australias national coach accredition framworks provides five tiers of acceredition tailored to the needs of the players and program that the coach is involved with

Accreditation levels

  • Master Coach
  • Performance Coach
  • Association Coach
  • Club Coach
  • Community Coach

Accreditation Recommendations

For each level of participation and for every coaching role within that level, Basketball Australia recommends that a coach hold the following accreditation level as a minimum
