Statistician Expression of Interest
The statistician’s job is to document every aspect of the game, which is typically done on a computer using FIBA Live Stats or Synergy Stats. This is not a time-consuming position as there are no duties to perform outside of the actual game in local leagues.
If you enjoy the recording and analysis of data as well as basketball then Stats may be for you!

Stats EOIStatistician Courses and Pathways
Joining Basketball ACT’s Stats team provides pathways for stats officials from officiating their first game of basketball through to being a FIBA accredited official.
Basketball ACT provides stats assistance in developing their skills and improving their knowledge. Once the official shows their knowledge and stats understanding, they will then progress to the next level.
Stats Level 1 Course
Level 1 is an introductory stats course containing the basic rules, game calling and computer imputting. Once you have completed the course, you will learn on the domestic competitions alongside experienced officials.
