School Holiday Camps with Basketball ACT offer fun, skill-focused basketball programs for kids of all ages during the school breaks. These camps provide a great opportunity to learn new skills, stay active, and make friends in a positive and supportive environment.
Led by experienced coaches, camps include drills, games, and challenges tailored to different skill levels. Whether your child is new to basketball or looking to improve, our holiday camps are the perfect way to keep them engaged and excited about the game during the holidays.
Basketball ACT School Holiday Camp
8-10 October 2025
9:00am to 12:00pm – U9’s
1:00pm to 4:00pm – U13’s
$180pp + PlayHQ Fees – (inc GST)
The Phil Brown Super Camp will focus on developing strong foundation skills in shooting, passing, dribbling, pivoting and defensive footwork. Participants will also build one-on-one skills to create scoring opportunities, while learning team concepts such as fast break, pass & cut, and dribble penetration. These will be practiced through small-sided games (2v2, 3v3, 4v4) with plenty of competitions and fun activities included.
The Shooting Camp is a three-day specialist camp focusing on correct shooting technique, including form drills, footwork, balance, body alignment, release phase, and lay-ups with both hands. Participants will work on shooting off the pass, off the dribble, and lay-up skills while enjoying competitions that make learning fun.
