Nationals Coaching Roles Open as Program Builds on Strong 2025 Success

Basketball ACT is inviting applications for two key coaching positions, as the Canberra Nationals programs continue to build momentum following a highly successful 2025 season.

The Canberra Nationals Women’s NBL1 East team reached new heights this year, showcasing talent, resilience and exciting basketball in the eastern conference. With strong performances across the season, the team has continued to establish itself as one of the leading programs in the competition, providing a platform for athletes to develop and excel.

Alongside this, the Canberra Nationals Academy has enjoyed tremendous growth, with the program producing outstanding results in the Waratah League and helping to nurture the next generation of Canberra’s elite athletes. The Academy has proven to be a crucial pathway for local players striving to compete at the highest level.

To continue this success, Basketball ACT is now seeking applications for:

• Canberra Nationals Women’s NBL1 East Head Coach
• Canberra Nationals Academy Women’s Head Coach

These roles represent exciting opportunities to lead high-performance programs, work with some of the ACT’s top talent, and shape the future of women’s basketball in the region.
