Basketball ACT (BACT) have announced they are joining forces with the region’s sporting clubs and associations, to support the communities directly impacted by the recent bushfires.  #WeAreOne – draws together major sporting teams, clubs and associations from the Canberra region together to raise money and provide support to the volunteers, families and communities across the NSW South Coast, Monaro region and Southern Inland.

With many of our basketball family affected by the bushfires, BACT CEO – David Simpson said “We are honoured to come together with so many amazing teams, clubs and associations from our region as part of #WeAreOne, to raise funds for those impacted by the bushfires, and are well underway in planning how we can collaborate and coordinate our efforts, and contribute to this amazing initiative.”

BACT will join the Canberra Raiders, Brumbies Rugby, UC Capitals, Hockey ACT and the Canberra Chill, Canberra Cavalry, CBR Brave, Cricket ACT and the ACT Meteors, Capital Football and Canberra United FC, Tennis ACT, Netball ACT and the GWS Giants, as part of #WeAreOne.
